What kind of jewelry do we make?

We make all kinds precious items, such as rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and even custom pieces for watches. For our custom jewelry, we use precious metals and high grade gemstones. We have all kinds of gemstones but the most popular gemstones are diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds.

Our inventory includes a vast selection of loose diamonds and gemstones, allowing you to create a piece of jewelry that fits your budget.

As for precious metals, we use 18K white gold, rose gold, yellow gold or platinum alloys, but we can also melt down old jewelry that is broken or you no longer wear to create a custom piece and save you money on the project. If the jewelry contains gemstones, we can implement those as well.

CUSTOM JEWELRY DESIGN PROCESS

Our jewelry design process is centered around you, the customer. Here is the step by step process.

Step 1: Consultation

The first step is to conduct a one-on-one consultation between you and our jewelry designer.

This first meeting will allow you to express all of your ideas, no matter how wild or whimsical they may be. We don’t want you to hold anything back. You can bring photos, mood boards, or whatever you can think of to help us understand your vision. We won’t rush you in any way and we have enough experience to ask the right questions and lead the consultation in successful direction. In the end, we will come to a conclusion that expresses exactly what you want.

Step 2: Sketches

Our designer will get right to work, polishing and finalizing the sketches. After, we will submit them to you for your approval. Any changes that you’d like can be made and then we will go through another round of approval. We will do this until we get it right.

Step 3: Materials

Upon your agreement of the design, together we will decide on the materials, such as the precious metal and stones. We will help you get the best quality for the budget you give us and that matches your idea.

We have a huge collection of conflict-free gemstones of all different grades so we can work with any budget. As for metals, we have yellow, rose, and white gold, as well as platinum and silver.

Step 4: CAD

The next step is to bring the design into this dimension with a CAD (Computer Aided Design). This will allow us to create a 3D model of the piece so you can check how it functions and looks. We then make a wax model so you can see how it fits and you can analyze the architecture of the design. Any final adjustments can be made before we get to the final design stages.

Step 5: Final Creation

Our master jeweler will create the exact replica of the wax model in the precious materials that you chose. This is all done in our state-of-the-art workshop, which is onsite at Diamonds By Raymond Lee in Boca Raton. We use the best equipment to ensure perfect tolerances, but everything is finished by hand.

Step 6: Quality Control

The final phase is to put the jewelry through our high-standard quality control process, which includes inspection by our team of jewelers, designers, and, of course, you!

HOW LONG DOES THE ENTIRE CUSTOM JEWELRY PROCESS TAKE?

It really depends on the complexity of the piece we are creating with you. It also depends on the approval process, which you control. If it is simple, we may be able to do it in one day. But, most custom jewelry design work takes 1-3 weeks.
